What are Intellectual Property Rights? IPR are rights given to creators for them to have exclusivity over their creation for a specified period of time. Examples of IPR infringement [Trademark violations] · Selling a product that bears the logo of a brand which you are not authorized to use. · Selling a product or item that bears the logo of a brand, but the product or item was not made by that brand. · Using the trademark of another brand in the description or title for a product or item that was not manufactured by that brand. (exceptions made ONLY for compatibility descriptions like “Case for iPhone”) · Merging a generic item into a product with a trademark. [Copyright violations] · Copying and using the text and /or image(s) from the product detail page from another seller * Selling copies of media items like books, movies, music, art, paintings etc. [Design violations] · Producing, using, assigning, renting, exporting, or importing an article that involves a design, or offering to assign or rent such an article (including displaying an article for assigning or renting). [Patent violations] · An invention of a product: Manufacturing, using, assigning, leasing, or importing the product or offering to assign or lease the product (including displaying the product for the purpose of assigning or leasing; hereinafter the same shall apply) * An invention of a process: Using the process or subscribing to the use of the process. · An invention of a process of manufacturing a product: Using, assigning, leasing, or importing the product manufactured by the process or offering to assign or lease the product. ** Note: The trademark, design or patent you own must be registered in the country where you are reporting the infringement. In Korea, please visit the Korean Intellectual Property Office KIPO for the IPR registration process. · Exclusive sales rights, distribution contract violation and low selling prices are matters agreed upon through an individual contract, so they cannot be quoted as a reason for reporting an intellectual property infringement. Describe your requests in detail. (Suspension of the product sale, modification of the content in the product page, etc.)

Choose one of the following : Certificate of Business Registration or Photo of the rights holder's ID * You can submit additional documents such as Trademark License Agreement, etc. * A Certificate of Business Registration issued within 3 months of the report submission date (=Certificate of Business Registration Statement). * Rights holder's ID  : Masking is required for personal information, except for the name and the date of birth & ID card photographed against a background that shows both the date and current time (hour/minute/second) (However, adjustable personal watches are not acceptable)

For the registration certificate of right(s), copy of a court judgment, and copy of a decision by an administrative agency, Please check the notes in the table below and submit the documentary evidence such as a screenshot of the copyright registration certificate, or work materials that is able to verify the original file and job layers (PhotoShop or equivalent work programs).

*Important : If the registration status of the rights is not "Registered" but [Application Filed, Application Published], it means that the trademark rights have only been requested from the Patent Office. Therefore, direct actions such as suspending the sale of the reported party's products are difficult during the Filed and Published stages.

A copy of the court judgement, or a copy of a decision by an administrative agency, etc.

If the reporter is an agent, the agent’s identification is required. And it is allowed to submit the agent’s certificate of employment instead of a copy of identification.
